With many years' experience delivering solutions, Hornbill has developed a training and education strategy that aims to give our customers the best value and the most repeatable, highly available education programme possible. Out software products are comprehensive and to understand the depth of functionality and get the best out of them for your business your power users and people involved in the deployment programme need to be trained.
In the past, we approached training in a traditional manner and provided either on-site or classroom based training that served the initial training requirements but fell short due to business dynamics such as those listed below:
- Product(s) are updated on a regular basis
- Training content is continually evolving
- Customers hire new staff and/or existing staff move onto other roles
To combat the difficulties associated with traditional product training, we have devised a training programme and delivery model which uses a combination of on-demand and video media coupled with customer specific workshops. This approach is designed as a one-way transfer of knowledge from us to our customers and cover both Concepts and How To's in great detail.
Each of our customers' nominated users are given access to this media, which is available within https://community.hornbill.com/, which provides structured modular learning backed up by a questionnaire to verify that the important information has been communicated effectively and learned. The Training Programme also enables you to provide feedback, so that we can continuously improve our offering based upon customer feedback.Users can take these modules at their own leisure and once a module has been taken it can be reviewed at any time after that. Users can re-take any module any time and, can continue to access them as long as your business maintains it's Support and Maintenance contract.
Classroom and Onsite Learning
Hornbill fully understand that sometimes onsite education is required, and this can be requested by communicating directly with your Relationship Manager who will seek to understand your needs and outcomes before reaching a commercial agreement with you.
Some of our technical education is still suited to a classroom environment, and these courses and dates are listed below:
